Volatility returns to markets

Summer doldrums in the foreign exchange markets finally came to an end today as the labor day holiday in US was celebrated with the syrian liramilitary strikes in Syria seemingly delayed and better than expected Chinese data.The FTSE and Sterling seemed to bounce off support levels as the old maxim of “Sell in May and come back after Labor Day” seemed to hold good.
